神戸で結成された3人組ロックバンド！
まとまった音源としては2年ぶり？5thミニアルバムリリース！
音楽ってやっぱり人間が出るなーと思う。まさに彼ら自身のような清涼でポジティブ、柔和な印象の新譜！

彼らの持つ美声とハーモニー、清涼感爽快感、そしてノスタルジックなメロディーセンスが一層際立つようなアコースティックなサウンドが印象的です。
Beatles、UKロックのイメージだったけどアメリカのバンドのようなカントリーテイストの曲二曲でスタートするのが意外なアルバム。

「春だ！」が象徴的ですが、歌詞では別れを暗示するような曲もあるけど
全体的にポジティブなフィーリングで溢れた、聴いていてとても気持ちの良い作品。

「タリアセン」は上野くんのファルセットの良さを堪能できる。
「センスオブワンダー」はルーツにBatlesがある事を強く感じさせる曲調で、全編ずっとハモリ続けるところが美しいし、凄まじくもある。
お気に入りはミドルテンポの「春だ！」と「ムーンナイト」です。
KANやミスチルまで思わせるソングライティング力を感じるような。

The Songbardsって、美声も、全員歌えるコーラスワークも、Beatlesをリスペクトして培ったソングライティングセンスも兼ね備えた極上ポップソング集団になりつつあるんじゃないでしょうか。
