もともと岡山のライブシーンで活躍する仲間たちが集結した、4人組バンド。
そんな彼らが、早くもフルアルバムをリリース！PASSiON RECORDSからの新作です。

独特の歌声と、日常の喜びや切なさを平易な言葉で綴る歌詞には、稀有な才能を感じます。
その世界観はまるで絵本のように、ピュアでかわいらしく、それでいて奥行きがある。
どこか、ブルーハーツにも通じる感覚があるような気がしています。

一方で、サウンドはピクシーズやペイヴメントなど、USオルタナティブの影響を感じさせるような音作り。
その掛け合わせがまた、たまらなく良いんです！

初期衝動が詰まった前作に比べると、
今作は「生活」や「ondo」など、音色やリズムに実験的な遊び心もあって、通してじっくり聴けるアルバムに仕上がっています。
個人的には、後半にぐっとくる曲が多くて──「犬」、そして「元気で」「インユーテロ」「ビール」、名曲が次々と続きます。

なかでも「ビール」は、出だしの
「苦い思いをビールと一緒に飲み干した」
という一節で、名曲確定のガッツポーズ。少しほろ苦い、大人の青春ソング。

りりこさんとみちのぶさん、ふたりのボーカルの掛け合いも、やっぱり本当に素晴らしいです。
明るく聴こえる声なのに、歌詞はどこか切なかったりして。
チャーミングな4人の人柄も含めて、ずっと応援したくなるバンドです。
