新潟を拠点に活動中のインディーロック・デュオ、periwinklesによる2ndアルバムが完成!periwinklesはヴォーカル&ギターのrihoとドラムのikumiによるバンドで、ライブも完全に2人で完遂させる正真正銘のデュオだ。今回リリースされる『A Day In The Life』は彼らが影響を受けたウェストコーストを彷彿させるガレージ～ロックンロールから90sのオルタナファンにまで届くであろうUSインディー好き必聴の作品に仕上がっている。
LAのサンシャイン・パンク・バンド、Peach Kelli Popがゲスト参加した海外のティーンの日常を描く「GAL」、periwinkles史上最もキャッチーな楽曲としてシングルリリースされていたファジーでローファイなロックンロール曲「Lady Madonna」、更にはThe BethsやBleachedといったバンドを彷彿させるガレージなギターとキャッチーなメロディーが交差する「Let's go!!」など2023年にロックミュージックが聞きたいあなたに向けたアルバムです!
