シューゲイズ、マッドチェスターなインディーロックサウンドにエレクトロニック・ダンスな楽曲、更にはローファイ、チルポップも取り入れた振り幅激しく
聞き応えある音楽性。
でもロックバンドを原体験とする故なのか、どの曲もキャッチーな歌が中心にあって
全て違和感なくシームレスに聴ける凄さ。
エレクトロニックな曲も、UKギターロックと同時にアンダーワールドやエイフェックスツインもチェックしてた人なら全く違和感ないと思います。

お気に入りは「揺れたい、叫びたい、まだ踊りたい」と繰り返すフレーズが印象的で、
将来的に深夜のフロアのアンセムになりそうな名曲エレクトロナンバー「Exit Acid」

シューゲイズギターに中毒性ある四つ打ちダンスビート、それでいてキャッチーな歌でアンセム感ある「Afterimage」

この中ではちょっと異色な感じかも。00年代日本のギターロック感あってめっちゃ聴きやすい「Sunday Blue」も名曲！歌詞も人間臭い体温感じるフレーズで好きです。





Having made consecutive appearances at the Fuji Rock festival in the last two years, this solo project by Yota Mori has been continuously releasing music since 2015, undergoing changes in form from solo to band and back to solo. Recognized purely for the power of his music, he has been gaining popularity rapidly in recent years, culminating in his performances at Fuji Rock in 2021 and 2022. This album is a CD release of two previously released digital albums, re-arranged and remixed, with the addition of two previously unreleased tracks.

Music fans are sure to fall in love with Yota Mori's music, which blends shoegaze, Madchester and indie rock sounds with electronic dance and lo-fi chillpop. Despite these diverse influences, his music remains catchy and seamlessly cohesive, perhaps due to his grounding in rock band music. Even the electronic tracks will not sound out of place to anyone who has checked out both UK guitar rock and Underworld and Aphex Twin.

One of the standout tracks is the electrifying and anthemic "Exit Acid", which is likely to become a late-night dance floor staple. The repeated refrain "I want to shake, scream and dance more" is particularly memorable. The killer tune "Afterimage" is another highlight, with its shoegaze guitars, addictive four-on-the-floor dance beat and catchy vocals. "Sunday Blue" is also a great song with a distinctive 2000s Japanese guitar rock vibe, featuring lyrics that convey a very human warmth.
