東京を拠点に活動する5人組バンド、Spinning Plums。

男女ツインボーカルを軸に、インディーポップやシティポップのきらめきをまとった優しくも力強い轟音サウンドを鳴らしている。
2000年代以降のインディーロックやシューゲイズから影響を受けながらも、レゲエやファンクに根ざしたリズム感を土台に持つ独自のスタイルで、日本国内だけでなく海外からも注目を集めている。

2024年には「りんご音楽祭」に出演。

本作は2024年7月にデジタルリリースされた最新EPをカセット化した作品で、現在のSpinning Plumsを象徴するライブ定番曲6曲を収録。

代表曲「HITOMI Perfect Blue」をはじめ、初期シングル「Waves」の再録版など、バンドの魅力が凝縮された内容となっている。

特に「HITOMI Perfect Blue」は、90年代の日本アニメソングを思わせるキャッチーなポップネスとノスタルジックな質感を併せ持ち、本作全体の空気感を象徴する一曲。近年の海外リスナーからの支持拡大にも繋がった重要曲となっている。

柔らかなメロディと轟音ギター、浮遊感と躍動感を同時に抱えた、現在進行形のジャパニーズ・インディーポップ／シューゲイズ作品です。
