【公式インフォメーション】関西インディーシーンから生まれた
The Fax、Tokiyo Ootoによるスプリット7インチ。

Tokiyo Ootoは、インディーポップバンド And Summer Club のメンバーとしても活動してきたアーティスト。現在はソロとして、ギターを軸にボーカルやコーラスのループ、生活音のサンプリング、シンセサイザーなどを重ねながら楽曲を構築する。本作ではミニマルな反復の中にささやかな生活の音や声が溶け込み、静かな緊張感とともに、ゆっくりと聴き手を引き込んでいくサウンドスケープを描き出している。

一方The Faxは、オルタナティブロックを軸にサイケデリック、パンク、エレクトロニックな要素を横断しながら、鋭さとポップネスを併せ持つ独自のサウンドを展開するバンド。

これまでにライブでのコラボレーションなども行ってきた両者は、それぞれ異なるアプローチながらも、様々な音楽から影響を受けながら独自のサウンドへと昇華するという共通点を持つ。互いに唯一無二の音楽性を持つ2組が、1枚のレコードの中で交差する。
