今作は、悲しみや怒りといった感情に焦点を当てた作品。


前作よりも、mineralやpenfold、Sunny Day Real Estateなど 、
90sエモを受け継ぐこのバンドの美学がさらにくっきりと浮かびあってる感覚がある。

うなだれる気持ちに寄り添うような優しいアルペジオ。
そこに、変拍子や急加速、荒ぶるボーカルが重なって、
情緒不安定な感情を音にしているかのよう。


おすすめは「Vaporlamp」という曲です！

後悔と、出口のない閉塞感の中で、
自問自答を繰り返すような一曲。

あの頃はキラキラしていた思い出が、
今では逆に自分を苦しめてくる。
そんな感覚、ありませんか。

主人公が見ているのは、
見慣れた環状線の夕焼け。

本当はきれいなはずの風景なのに、
今はそれがつらいと歌う。

スローテンポで淡々と続くアルペジオは、
電車に揺られているような感覚を連れてくる。

どこにも行けないまま、堂々巡り。
そんな感覚と「環状線」もきっとリンクしているのかもしれない。
