【公式インフォメーション】
アフターソウルはハヌマーン、バズマザーズとキャリアを築いてきた山田亮一が2024年新たに組んだバンドである。
結成当初からはリズム隊が入れ替わり、現在は山田亮一（G t/Vo） 田中耕平（Gt） shimizuyu（Ba） ニキドラム（Dr）の4人で活動している。
2012年のハヌマーン解散から12年の歳月が流れ、すでに伝説のアイコンとなっていた山田亮一のシーン復帰に世間は大いに盛り上がった。
2枚のEPを発売後、2025年の6月渋谷CLUB QUATTRO（ソールドアウト）7月梅田CLUB QUATTROでワンマンライブを行う。
2026年は更なる活動のためファーストアルバムが発売。
90年代を感じさせるオルタナティブギターロックの土壌にブルース、フォーク、ファンク、歌謡曲などを詰め込み昇華させた名盤が完成。
スリリングなバンドアンサンブルに乗る山田亮一のポップセンスと言葉遊びが堪能できる作品となっている。
ハヌマーン時代の名曲「アパルトの中の恋人達」の再録を含む全11曲。
