2025年1月に初ライブ。
ex. letniy の Suzuko さんが、新しいバンドをスタート！
メンバーには Forbear のメンバーも参加し、
東京のレーベル〈narrow yard〉から150本限定のカセットをリリース！

やっぱり、letniy 時代からこの人の歌声が好きだ。
春と夏のあいだに吹く風みたいに爽やかで、
静かなのに、内側にちゃんとエネルギーを宿している声。

そしてここにも、
Teenage Fanclub や BMX Bandits を思わせるギターポップ／インディーロックの魔法がある。
最近だと誰だろうね。
昨年たくさん聞いた career womanのteacher't petという曲はすごくおすすめなので聴いてください。

淡々としたリズム、かき鳴らされるキラキラしたギター。
そこにこの歌声が重なると、
上昇気流に乗った凧が、青空に吸い込まれていくのを
見上げているような、そんな気持ちよさがある！

お気に入りは2曲目の「what you want」。

きっとこれは、自分自身への語りかけ。
自分と対話しながら、気持ちを少しずつ整理していくような曲だと思う。

特に好きなフレーズがこれ。

見えなくなるまで手を振ろう
大それた名案なんて
必要ないんだから

何かを選ばなきゃいけない時。
何かを手放さなきゃいけない時。
そんな場面で、この曲を思い出したいと、思った。

この歌詞からの連想だけど、Preco のサウンドには、
「結局これが好きで、これしかできないんだよな」
という潔さがある気がする。
そして、そういう音楽はやっぱり好きだな。

昔、輸入盤のCDを買って、
歌詞もよく分からないまま、
断片的に聞き取れた単語だけで勝手に曲の意味を想像していた頃があった。

preco の音と歌詞がつくる“共有スペースの広さ”に、
あの頃の感覚を、ふと思い出したりもした。
