謎の覆面二人組による怪人ロックバンド！
8月のリリースに続き、早くも新作をドロップ！
「ある男が怪人に“変身”する前日譚」を裏テーマに据えたという、エピソードゼロ的作品。

まず驚いたのは、これまでの印象が覆されたこと。
ポストパンクやガレージロックを軸にした、ニヒルでクールな英国的バンド――そう思っていた。
だが今作では、ぶっとい金属と金属がぶつかる衝撃のような図太い轟音サウンドに、
日本語で感情をむき出しにするボーカルが重なる。
“日本式オルタナティブロック”を鳴らしている！！

一曲目「狂気と桜」。
ギターの単音弾きから始まるアンセム感たっぷりのイントロ。
そこから豪快にコードをかき鳴らす瞬間、思わずイースタンユースやブッチャーズを連想した。

この曲がどんな情景を歌っているのか、完全には掴めないのだけれど、
でも、このフレーズが胸に刺さりました！

思えば何もできていないな
何も見えなくてつまんない
繰り返すだけでつまんない

何かよくない衝動に駆られそうなほど
退屈に押し潰されそうな日常。
そうした“狂気の一歩手前”に立たされた人にこそ、この曲を聴いてほしい！
