2024年、前身バンド「50 pears」から改名して始動した東京の4人組。
CD盤にはボーナストラックとして、デモverなど全4曲を追加収録。
かつては、たとえばReal Estateを思わせるような、儚く美しいメロディのインディーロックを鳴らしていましたが、
今作ではボサノバやサンバといったブラジル音楽に大胆に接近！
1曲目の「青いオルフェ」という曲名は、映画『黒いオルフェ』からの着想でしょうか（この映画の音楽は、ボサノバの巨匠アントニオ・カルロス・ジョビン！）。
ミステリアスでクールなメロディに、ブラジル音楽特有のテンションの高いリズムとコーラスが重なり、
どこか日本的な“湿度”を帯びた、不思議な温度感のサウンドが生まれています。
そこにこのバンドの面白さがあるのかなと！
「パレード」の手数の多いドラムとアコースティックギターの絡みは、無条件で高揚するし、ライブでは絶対に盛り上がるはず！
歌詞には、過去の過ちや薄闇から抜け出して、どこかへ向かおうとする意志がにじんでいて――
ブラジル音楽との出会いをきっかけに、新たに動き出したこのバンド自身の姿とも重なって見える。そんな作品です！
