暴風の轟音に、ひとすじの光が差し込む──東京発、異次元シューゲイズ
2022年結成、東京の5人組。
海外バンドの招聘・共演歴もある注目株が放つ1stアルバムが、
事件です。

一言で「ヘヴィ・シューゲイズ」と括るにはスケールが違いすぎる。
3本のギターで作り出す音像がとんでもなくて、ぶっ飛ばされます。
中でも「蒼い空」のイントロ──暴力的な音の渦に巻き込まれたと思った瞬間、
そこにウィスパーボイスが嵐の中の一筋の光のように差し込んでくる。このコントラストが凄まじい…。

重厚で地鳴りのようなドラム、
「YOU」「Nonsense」でのゴリゴリのフレーズなど、
ハードコア／メタル／ポストロック／シューゲイズを呑み込んだ
この音楽性自体も嵐のようで、カオスそのもの。
ぼくが連想したのはシューゲイズバンドというよりもenvy。他にもDEFTONES、MONO、Sigur Rósなど好きな人にも刺さる要素がありそうです。

神話のような壮大さ、畏怖すら覚える、未体験のエクストリームなサウンドが聴きたい人に推薦したい。
それこそenvyのように、この音には、ジャンルを越えて支持を広げていくカリスマ性、芸術性があると思います。
